Hello Muuto: Knoll Welcomes Scandinavian Style into Brand Constellation

While Knoll’s history is rooted in classic mid-century modern design, the company is also known for their powerful partnerships with today’s leading modern designers and their strategic brand development through impactful acquisitions — like the more recent acquisition of contemporary conference and meeting room manufacturer DatesWeiser in 2016.

In its most recent move, Knoll acquired the “resi-mercial” Finnish brand, Muuto, in January 2018. Rooted in Scandinavian design tradition, Muuto is characterized through its enduring aesthetics, functionality and craftsmanship.
