Our installers are some of the most important people you’ll meet, and most certainly the face of a project.

Meet Mike Hicks, one of our very talented supervisors and a lead installer, responsible for ensuring your space comes to life. Mike has been part of the RJE family for 15 years, and really enjoys how he’s able to interact and assist with our customers. Chris Miller, vice president of operations, only has the best things to say about Mike, “Mike exemplifies RJE’s values. He is dedicated to providing top tier service to our customers every day. I am fortunate to call Mike my teammate.”

What has been your favorite project so far?

I really enjoyed the First Internet Bank project – it was so much fun! The project was almost perfect – it was exciting, featured lots of fun and modern pieces, and the timeline was very smooth.

What is your favorite thing about working at RJE?

It’s the comradery of the people here. It’s truly amazing.

Describe RJE in three words

Culture, philanthropy, opportunities. So much room for advancement on so many different levels.

What does hugging your customer mean to you?

It means going above and beyond. If we did not have customers, we would not have the business. It’s important that we “give them pickle” whenever possible.

What can customers expect from working with you?

A job well done.

What is your current favorite product from Allsteel and its portfolio of brands?

I really enjoy the cubicle systems – they’re fun and easy to put together!

Hard working, trustworthy, dedicated.

You are a new addition to a crayon box. What color would you be and why?

Blue – it’s my favorite color and it brightens up the day.

What emoji do you use the most?

The facepalm emoji.

Favorite way to spend your free time

[without hesitation] Speed skating! Started in elementary school and love to spend my time this way.
