SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

RJE has an opening for a Senior Financial Accountant at our Indianapolis location.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Significant experience with reconciling balance sheet accounts
• Experience with general ledger functions and fiscal period close activities
• Strong finance technology skills, including: QuickBooks, advanced general ledger packages and Excel
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Adept at handling multiple, diverse finance-related responsibilities

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Daily review of banking activity to assure posting to general ledger and accurate checkbook balances
• Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receives and payables, pre-paids, accruals, fixed assets, and inter-company accounts
• Monthly financial statement analysis to identify and correct the misreporting of outlier transactions
• Along with other Finance team members, perform delinquent customer payment follow-up (internal collections activities)
• Process employee expense reports and ensure accurate accounting for their spending
• Develop, iterate, and provide timely and useful expense analysis and supporting detail to the Operations Leadership
• Assist CFO as requested in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Working with the CFO, developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Serve as the direct contact with the Company’s external Accounting Firm as it performs its annual Review; coordinate and provide responses to its requests for Review-related support, including account reconciliations
• Prepare and file state-by-state Sales Tax returns (Monthly) and register in new states (as needed)

DESIGNER, INDIANAPOLIS

RJE has an opening for a Designer at our Indianapolis location. As a Designer, your responsibility will be to provide design and front‐end support for a variety of project scopes and client needs. This may include large-scale projects and specific high‐profile customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interior Design degree – 2 or 4 year
• 1-2 years of previous design experience related to the commercial furniture industry,
preferred but not required
• Proficient with: AutoCAD
• Preferred: CET
• Preferred: CAP 20/20
• Proficient with: Microsoft Office suite of products
• Critical/creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time, at times within limited
timeframes

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Client fact-finding process and programming
• Creating design presentations to support furniture typical specifications
• Develop furniture floor plan, specifications, and finish package for approval
• Assists with Bid or Proposal Responses by assembling collateral materials
• Participates in product evaluation and selection
• Assist in live design and client presentations
• Provide installation packets
• Conducts field measurements
