DESIGNER, INDIANAPOLIS

RJE has an opening for a Designer at our Indianapolis location. As a Designer, your responsibility will be to provide design and front‐end support for a variety of project scopes and client needs. This may include large-scale projects and specific high‐profile customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interior Design degree – 2 or 4 year
• 1-2 years of previous design experience related to the commercial furniture industry,
preferred but not required
• Proficient with: AutoCAD
• Preferred: CET
• Preferred: CAP 20/20
• Proficient with: Microsoft Office suite of products
• Critical/creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time, at times within limited
timeframes

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Client fact-finding process and programming
• Creating design presentations to support furniture typical specifications
• Develop furniture floor plan, specifications, and finish package for approval
• Assists with Bid or Proposal Responses by assembling collateral materials
• Participates in product evaluation and selection
• Assist in live design and client presentations
• Provide installation packets
• Conducts field measurements

EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR/ADMINISTRATOR, CINCINNATI

RJE has an opening for an Experience Coordinator/Administrator at our Cincinnati location. The Experience Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the showroom and the experience that guests have in the space. Which includes and not limited to all items listed below.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-reliant and resourceful.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • General office duties to include opening and closing of showroom (lights and Tv’s)
  • Receiving and sending out mail and packages.
  • Maintenance and ordering of office supplies, café supplies, paper products, etc.
  • Copier/Plotter: maintain supplies, toner, etc.
  • Maintaining condition of showroom, basic clean-up following meetings, storage room.
  • Showroom calendar/schedule internal and external meetings.
  • Prepare for, order food, refreshments for in person showroom meetings and events, etc.
  • Scan and send checks, invoices, etc. to Accounts Payable.
  • Create and post welcome signs for client visits.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees (packets, set-up, etc.)
