Gregory & Appel

Fiercely independent risk management advisor Gregory and Appel (G & A) worked to create an office that moved beyond typical expectations for an insurance company. Working with RJE and their design team, G & A worked to find innovative ways to support employees’ preferences and their hybrid in-office/remote schedule. During design discussions of their new space, art and color played a major role in creating and maintaining morale. This inspired G & A to work with curators to commission 16 Indianapolis artists to share their stories through various mediums of art. This partnership created the Generations exhibit, with these pieces being on display throughout the office. The colors included in the design serve as inspiration for “neighborhoods” (teams), ensuring that dynamic and fun colors were used throughout the building and to assist in wayfinding.
