In our continuing “People Who Delight” series, today we spotlight Cincinnati workplace consultant Dani Schwarz. We’ll learn more about her role and what she feels makes RJE so special. Learn more about Dani below!

What led you to RJE?
My plan was to study architecture at Miami (Oxford, OH). Once I graduated, I ended up entering the business world and 4 years later found RJE through a Knoll contact.
What has been your favorite project so far?
We just finished up Ancra Cargo, and everything about this project was amazing. We had such a great client, everyone was easy to work with, and the design firm is Platte design (a great partner)! What they did within their manufacturing space is so much fun – they were really focused on employees and how to build morale.
What is your favorite thing about working at RJE?
It’s definitely the people and culture. Everyone is always willing to help each other – it’s very much team effort.
Describe RJE in three words
Let’s make it four words – work hard, play hard.
What does an inspiring space include in your eyes?
It’s something specific for each customer, but I make sure we’re looking at choices, provide solutions that support culture and speaks to that company and who they are specifically. When we look at it from a design perspective we make sure their employees are reminded of who they are and what they stand for – this includes fun colors, bold patterns, and something unexpected.
What is your current favorite product from Allsteel and its portfolio of brands?
I love the Retreat collection – specifically the Highback Lounge Chair – it’s different from similar products. The function makes sense, it has a good look/feel. It can be used in many different spaces.

Favorite way to spend your free time?
With family (son & husband) – we like playing golf, being outside when it’s nice and spending time with friends.
Cats or Dogs?
I prefer dogs, but we do not have any pets.
Favorite place you have ever been?
St. Lucia (we went for our honeymoon), it’s one of the coolest places. You can be on the beach, it has mountains, you get the best of everything. We took a helicopter tour and really fell in love the area.
Favorite downtown Cincy spot?
Paycor stadium – we are big Bengals fans in our family.
Favorite movie or tv show at the moment?
Friends is my all-time favorite.
