There’s always something exciting going on at RJE! Allow us to share some of the latest happenings in the RJE and surrounding communities.
Enterprise Day
Annually, the RJE and Falkbuilt team spend a day focused on teambuilding, training, and friendly competition. Enterprise Day 2023 took place in Cincinnati, and helped to reaffirm what makes RJE special – the people. Comprised of half of a day of training and a half day of fun, the enterprise was able to learn more about finance, marketing, our 2024 vision, and the customer experience.
We ended the day with a fowling event, having two teams come out on top of the double elimination tournament. Congratulations are in order for our winners, including two-time winner, (in Indianapolis and Cincinnati) Senior Project Manager Tim Coulter.
Designer Farmers Market
Fall in September is a great time to host a Designer Farmers Market, which is exactly what RJE, Allsteel, and numerous community partners did at the COhatch in Broad Ripple. Excited to host a variety of fall activities, the Designer Farmers Market saw over 80 individuals enjoy activities such as an apple cider bar, smores making station, building fresh flower bouquets, and caramel apple dipping.
Great fun was had by all, with many attendees sharing their enjoyment of the event’s new location!
United Way
At RJE, community engagement is the cornerstone of our company culture. Unsurprisingly, our team members share our philanthropic spirit. One of our strongest partnerships in the community is with the United Way of Central Indiana – RJE is a two-time winner of their Spirit United Award. This September, the Indianapolis team met to kick-off the United Way season of giving – within a week, we surpassed our monetary goal and received 100% participation!
We may be workplace experts, but our impact exceeds well beyond the workplace, with a commitment to community engagement.
Allsteel Experience 2023
Last month, the Cincinnati team was able to create a curated experience for members of the Cincinnati design community by traveling to Fulton Market (Chicago, IL). This allowed guests to partake in the Allsteel Showroom Experience. Events on the trip included networking dinners, happy hours, and an architectural boat tour (just to name a few).
